Properly applied using the 3M™ cavity wax application wand kit, it remains pliable and does not chip, peel, or crack.

Specifically developed as an anti-corrosion agent for internal automotive panels and structural elements, our 3M™ Plus cavity wax is typically used for areas such as door skins, vehicle sills, internal quarter panels, and frame rails. It is intended for use on bare or primed automotive metals, including steel and aluminium, and can be simply sprayed in layers to protect critical internal joints, hem flanges, and repair welds where moisture may form over time. The non-hardening internal anti-corrosion material remains soft and flexible, and once applied, does not crack, chip, or peel. The spray material in an easy-to-use can eliminates the need for bulk spray technology, allowing instead for easy application after painting and welding. Use 3M™ Plus cavity wax with our 3M™ Plus cavity wax applicator kit PN8851WK to access hard-to-reach areas. The 3M™ Plus cavity wax applicator kit (sold separately) is designed to work with 3M™ Plus cavity wax spray containers. The kit consists of an actuator that fits the can and narrow delivery tubes in lengths of 20 cm, 61 cm, and 86 cm. The 20 cm tube delivers a strong stream of wax for flooding and sealing joints. The 61 cm and 86 cm tubes provide an even 360° spray pattern, ensuring maximum coverage. The wand kit helps deliver the right amount of protective spray to internal rocker panels, dog legs, internal structures, frame rails, and other hidden areas with tight tolerances, as well as proper flow and drainage for consistent and uniform protection.
