Suspension play detectror device manual, standalone
Joint play tester and wheel gripper MEYLE
With its help, you can examine, among other things, the transverse control arm bearings, ball joints, tie rod ends
or strut bearings.
Gentle movements of the long lever arm allow you to identify even the initial wear of the suspension parts of the wheel
on the front and rear axle.
It can also be used as a wheel gripper to loosen seized wheels on passenger cars, SUVs, and vans.
Joint play tester:
- precise control of play in joints
- initial examination of transverse control arm bearings (does not replace optical examination of hydraulic bearings)
- direct mounting on the car without preparatory actions, such as lifting the car
- supporting tools in dialogue with the customer: clear communication of necessary repairs
Wheel gripper:
- suitable for wheels with diameters from 550 mm to 800 mm (from approx. 13“ to 22“, for all popular passenger cars, SUVs, and transporters)
- does not damage the rim
- non-slip mounting thanks to special spikes
- installation in a few seconds
- protects covers and joints
- lever arm for loosening particularly seized wheels
