Polyester masking tape with silicone adhesive

Single-sided adhesive polyester masking tape in green, on a polyester film carrier (50 µm) with silicone adhesive. The tape is resistant to high temperatures and chemical substances (acids, bases). The adhesive used in the tape is a PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) type, which means it is activated by pressure. The tape does not leave marks after removal.

 

Typical applications: masking in powder coating processes (withstands continuous operating temperatures up to 160 °C), for joining protective films with surfaces to be painted, excellent for electroplating and PCB production.

Powder coating:
The tape is excellent for protecting surfaces during powder coating. Its high thermal resistance effectively protects components during the curing process.
Electroplating:
In electroplating processes, based on electrochemical deposition of metallic coatings, the tape reliably masks areas that should not be coated.
Glass lamination:
