The Ctek MXS 5.0 microprocessor charger is a charger using the latest technology, which was previously used exclusively in professional CTEK products. The charger provides a comprehensive solution for charging batteries, even in high-demand applications. The MXS 5.0 offers features such as battery diagnosis indicating whether the battery can receive and retain a charge, reconditioning to restore completely discharged batteries with stratified electrolyte, unique maintenance charging, an optimal charging mode in low temperatures, and charging demanding AGM batteries (e.g., Optima). The display shows all instructions for the charging procedure to the user. The MXS 5.0 charger is a fully automatic 8-step charger providing charging of 0.8 A or 5 A batteries to 12 V from 1.2-110 Ah, also allowing maintenance charging up to 160 Ah. The charger has an IP 65 rating (protection against water and dust) and is designed to protect car electronic components, with protection against sparking and reverse polarity, as well as short-circuit protection.
