PRAKTIK CHARGER is an electronic charger for charging 12 volt acid batteries:

The charger has a microprocessor system control, ensures automatic shutdown after reaching the required voltage on the battery and automatic resumption of charging after a voltage drop on the battery.

Each time the charger is turned on, it automatically sets the last stored parameters (helpful with repeated use and in the event of mains power failures).

Cold charging function: optimizes charging at very low temperatures (low temperatures can adversely affect the chemical structure of battery components).

Charging process
The 9-stage charging process ensures optimal battery charging conditions. The automatic control system will adjust each of the 9 charging stages to properly charge the battery:

STAGE 1 - DIAGNOSTIC - analyzes the battery and checks if it can accept charging current; prevents the charging of a damaged battery.
STEP 2 - RECOVERY CHARGE - low voltage batteries are initially charged with low current but with increased voltage; very discharged batteries can be brought back to working order and this ensures longer battery life, this step is skipped if the battery is minimally discharged and in good condition.
STAGE 3 - SOFT START - the rectifier gradually increases the charging current until the set charging current is reached.
STEP 4 - PULSE CHARGE - the battery is charged with pulse current (pulse fluctuations are in the DC current range).
STAGE 5 - RECONDITIONING - preparatory stage for charging in the bulk charge stage.
STEP 6 - BULK CHARGE - charging with a constant current value to the previously set voltage (14.4÷14.7V).
STEP 7 - ABSORPTION CHARGE - after reaching the required level of battery charge, it will switch to constant voltage (CV) charging and the charging process will end.
STEP 8 - EVALUATION DIAGNOSTIC - automatic monitoring of the battery voltage after charging is complete.
STAGE 9 - MAINTENANCE CHARGE - a stage that maintains the battery (float) and monitors its condition; resumes charging with reduced current when needed.
