Battery charger & jump starter STARTER 920P 6/12/24V STARTER 920P
Index: STARTER 920P
Battery charger & jump starter STARTER 920P, charging voltage: 6/12/24 V, starting current: 900A, power supply: 230V, battery type: AGM/EFB/GEL/LFP/MF/WET
Technical Parameters
PROSTARTER 920 AUTOMATIC is a professional charger for vehicle starting assistance and charging 6, 12 and 24 volt batteries:
- WET (liquid - acid)
- GEL (gel)
- MF (maintenance-free)
- AGM (with fibreglass mat)
- EFB (for vehicles with Start-Stop system)
- LFP (lithium iron phosphate)
The charger is equipped with a microprocessor control system, ensuring automatic transition to maintenance status upon reaching the required voltage on the battery and automatic resumption of charging after a voltage drop on the battery.
PROSTARTER 920 AUTOMATIC has 4 charging modes:
- STD - liquid acid batteries WET
- GEL – gel batteries
- AGM – maintenance-free batteries AGM, MF and EFB
- 12V-LITHIUM – lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4)
The device is equipped with a digital display, which depending on the selected mode can show: charging voltage or battery charge level (%).
REPAIR - after connecting the battery and starting the function, the charger will "check" the level of sulphation of the battery. The charger will initiate the regeneration process if it "detects" such a need
TESTER - depending on the selected testing mode, the device displays the battery voltage, charge level or alternator voltage.
SUPPLY - function supporting the battery connected in the vehicle, to mitigate additional load resulting from specific operations performed during a simple inspection/servicing of the vehicle.
Charging Process
10-step charging process ensures optimal charging conditions for the battery. The automatic control system will adjust each of the 10 charging stages for correct battery charging:
STEP 1 - Trickle charge – initially starts charging with low current, then analyses the battery and checks if it can accept charging current; prevents charging of a damaged battery
STEP 2 - Desulphation – the battery is charged with pulsed current, checking the degree of sulphation when the voltage is low
STEP 3 - Soft start – the charger gradually increases the charging current until the set charging current is reached
STEP 4 - Constant current – the battery is charged with the set current until the appropriate voltage is reached
STEP 5 - Analyse – stage analysing the battery's ability to charge
STEP 6 - Constant output charge – after reaching the required battery charge level, it switches to constant voltage charging
STEP 7 - Recovery cycle charge – stage of increased charge acceptance to compensate for reduced charging current
STEP 8 - Absorption – charging with reduced current for the appropriate voltage level
STEP 9 - Analyse – stage analysing the battery's ability to maintain charge
STEP 10 - Maintenance charge – stage maintaining the battery (float) and monitoring its condition; resumes charging with reduced current if necessary
Physical Parameters
The device is equipped with protection: thermal, against sparking on the terminal clamps, against short-circuiting of the terminals, overload and reverse polarity.
Power Parameters
Single-phase power supply 230V. The device is equipped with a power plug.
Warranty Conditions
12-month warranty for professional use. Warranty service is provided in a door-to-door system without transport costs for the user.
