The TRONIC function is designed for charging maintenance-free batteries and allows automatic shutdown of charging when the battery voltage reaches 14.4V (for 12V battery) or 28.8V (for 24V battery) and automatic resumption of charging when the battery voltage drops. The CHARGE function is intended for charging lead-acid batteries. Protection against short circuit and reverse polarity.
