Putty finishing, spray steel 1,2kg
Index: 0RS010-1.2KG
PROFIRS Putty finishing, spray 1,2kg, intended use: steel; colour: Beige
SPRAY FILLER: 0RS010-1.2KG
Characteristics:
Two-component spray filler based on high-quality raw materials. It is characterised by excellent thixotropy and a high degree of flowability. Excellent filling properties allow for easy filling of both small and deep irregularities (pores and sanding marks) on large surfaces. It is easy to work with using abrasive materials. It shows excellent adhesion to fibreglass-reinforced plastics, metal, wood, elements protected with anti-corrosion primers, polyester laminates, and hard plastic. Used for repairing parts in passenger cars, trucks, rail vehicles, and others. Due to its high sensitivity to water, it must be sanded dry. In the case of wet sanding, wait until the water has completely evaporated. To avoid the formation of air bubbles, before applying the topcoat, cover the processed surface with an insulating layer of at least 35 µm, for example, a two-component acrylic primer.
Method of use:
The substrate to be repaired must be clean, dry, degreased, and matt. Thoroughly mix the filler mass with CHP hardener in an amount of 3% by weight, then apply to the substrate for about 20 - 30 min. at 20 oC - higher temperatures shorten the product's life and accelerate the curing process. If a product with lower viscosity is desired, add up to 2.5% by weight of spray filler thinner.
NOTE: Overdosing the hardener may cause discolouration of the topcoat. It is not recommended to use the product at temperatures below 18 oC.
