For "LUCAS" brake caliper guides, lubricated guide pins are used. They are covered with a bellows sleeve. If the sleeves are damaged, the guide bushings corrode in the brake piston housing. This results in resistance in the piston guides and increasing braking problems. With the "LUCAS" honing brush, the guide bushings can be ground to clean metal. Thanks to the precisely selected diameter, the hole maintains its dimension. A cordless screwdriver with a maximum speed of 500 rpm and drive only in the clockwise direction (right-handed) is suitable for the task. The cleaning process takes only a few seconds.
