Impact joints are used wherever access with conventional tools is impossible or very difficult. The operation of the joint is based on the use of a Cardan mechanism. In the case of conventional tools, when unscrewing a bolt, its axis coincides with the axis of rotation of the tool. If such unscrewing is impossible, a joint should be used. It allows the wrench to operate at an angle to the axis of the bolt. This solution is extremely convenient and effective. It should be noted that impact sockets are used for working with an impact wrench. The joint is supplied in a 3/8" size.
