Cooling System Pressure Check

Owner's Manual
- Carefully remove the radiator cap with a damp cloth or gloves as the cap can be very hot.
- Select the appropriate adapter and necessary accessories, then ensure that the whole is properly fitted to the radiator cap or expansion tank.
- Connect the quick coupler to the male end of the adapter located on the radiator.
- Press the pump handle and read the pressure gauge. A correct reading should be between 12 - 15 psi (check manufacturer's recommendations). If the pressure level is lower, the cooling system is leaking.
- At the end of the test, release the pressure by pressing the release valve. Disconnect the connector and adapter.
