Diagnostic device DTE/DTA-1

The device is intended for electronically controlled throttles. It allows the throttle flap to be set in any position by sending an appropriate control signal to the throttle controller. The current drawn by the throttle, as indicated by the tester, is the main indicator of its correct operation. The current version of the DTA-1 tester allows for the diagnosis of air throttles manufactured by Siemens, Pierburg, Valeo, Delphi, Wahler, and Magneti Marelli with the following designations: Technical parameters: - Supply voltage: DC, range 12...15V - Current consumption: 80mA (without connected controller) - Maximum current consumption: 4A (fuse 4A/250V) - Type of control signal: PWM - Current exceedance signal threshold (ALARM) 2A Set contents: - Tester, - Power adapter, - 4 connection cables for throttles, - Manual, - Spare fuses The tester has the capability to update software via the internet.
