Diesel fuel system diagnostic devices
The RPT-5 device is used for independent, parallel pressure measurement in reservoir fuel systems such as Common Rail (Diesel) and GDI/FSI (petrol). The tester, in addition to pressure values, simultaneously diagnoses the sensor's power supply. An additional advantage is the ability to automatically recognise the sensor's pin configuration, which is particularly useful when using needle probes.
The device can be used to test injection systems:
passenger cars,
trucks and buses,
tractors and agricultural machinery,
construction machinery,
power generators.
The tester, in addition to reading pressure values, also allows for the recording of pressure waveforms in two modes:
Pressure trend – slow-changing pressure waveform, showing the system's response to changing operating conditions,
Pressure pulsation – fast-changing waveform, showing rapid pressure fluctuations related to the operation of injectors and the CR pump.
Additionally, there is an option to download an Android application that allows for remote reading of measured values. This way, you can view waveforms in higher resolution, gaining the ability to save and later read data on a mobile device.
In the case of slow-changing waveforms (100 samples/s), it is possible to record continuous waveforms for several minutes or more, providing exceptional diagnostic capabilities.
For a complete check of the sensor indications on the rail, we offer an optional external sensor cable for the selected system. It allows for measurements with an additional sensor (a separate sensor with a hydraulic connector is required). The additional external sensor is powered by the tester and operates completely independently. It can perform all measurements, and a comparative mode is also available for simultaneous reading of both sensors' indications.
