What is the purpose of the working tool?
- For cutting and slicing metal, including hardened steel. Ideal for cutting, scoring, and trimming all kinds of metals. Cutting discs make it easier to cut bolts and screws or make slots in rusted or stripped screws and bolts so they can be removed with a screwdriver. The glass fibre reinforced construction ensures greater durability. SC409 discs are only 0.75 mm thick, providing even thinner and more precise cuts.
How to use the working tool?
- To be used with the SC402 mandrel. The unique Dremel Easy SpeedClic (SC) mechanism allows for tool-free, easy, and quick disc changes: just PULL – TWIST – RELEASE and you're done.
- Cutting discs cut only with the edge.
- When using these accessories, we recommend holding the tool with both hands (golf grip) and using an angle attachment when cutting in hard-to-reach places. To ensure the longest possible disc life, do not apply excessive pressure on the tool or exceed the permissible rotational speed.
