Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner – Manual cleaning of heavily clogged DPF filters
Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner is a professional workshop solution for cleaning diesel particulate filters when standard regeneration methods fail. Used for heavily clogged filters (>70% soot accumulation). Requires removal of the DPF filter.

Manual cleaning instructions – heavily clogged DPF (>70% soot)
- Remove the DPF filter from the vehicle.
- Check the condition of the filter (cracks, melting, oil). If damaged – replace.
- Prepare the Wynn’s Off-Car DPF Cleaner solution.
- Immerse the filter completely and leave for 90–120 minutes (for very heavy contamination – up to 8 hours).
- Gently move the filter during soaking.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water from both sides until the water runs clear.
- Dry with low-pressure and low-temperature compressed air.
- Reinstall the filter, connect sensors, and clear any errors in the controller.
- Perform a test drive or forced regeneration to confirm proper operation.
Notes
- Use personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, ventilation).
- Do not use a pressure washer or high-pressure air directly on the core.
- Dispose of used fluid and rinse water according to regulations.
- Record the cleaning in the vehicle's service history.
