The blade is hidden under sturdy metal guards – a fixed upper and a retractable lower during cutting. Additionally, the hole on the side of the upper guard serves as a connection for a vacuum cleaner to extract debris during operation. Furthermore, this device operates extremely quietly. The drive motor maintains a constant rotational speed under variable load.
