Fumes extractor trucks TECHNO.12H.1

Index: TECHNO.12H.1

Description

Rail exhaust extraction TECHNORAIL.

Characteristics:

A solution for those who value convenience and ease of use.

The presented model of the rail exhaust extractor allows for diagnostic work along the entire length of the channel.

TECHNORAIL stands out among similar products in that the trolley track is completely separated from the ventilation channel.

This type of construction ensures that engine exhaust gases do not contaminate the trolley's running gear, which positively affects the durability and reliability of the device.

Purpose:

Vehicle GVW up to 3.5 t - hose/nozzle diameter DN 100 mm

Vehicle GVW up to and above 3.5 t - hose/nozzle diameter DN 150 mm

It is possible to freely change the configuration of the rail extraction system.

The occupational risk assessment related to the presence of chemical factors at the workplace is an integral part of the occupational risk assessment related to all hazards.

One of the preventive measures that the employer should apply when working among harmful and dangerous factors is the installation of general and local ventilation systems.

Engine exhaust fumes are widely recognised as one of the most negatively impacting harmful factors on the human body. As is known, engine exhaust fumes contain numerous chemical compounds that have a destructive impact on the human body, including carcinogenic and mutagenic changes. Even short-term contact with engine exhaust fumes causes irreversible negative changes in the human body.

Unfortunately, there are sectors of the economy where people are exposed to contact with exhaust fumes almost throughout their entire career, such as the automotive mechanics sector. In car workshops, in closed service halls, vehicles with running engines are constantly present, where the exhaust fumes flood the entire volume of the repair hall. In this way, working service technicians are exposed to inhaling harmful and toxic chemical compounds throughout their professional life, which threaten human life.

According to statistics, over 40,000 people die annually in Poland due to polluted air, and the concentration of these pollutants in service areas is significantly higher than in the atmosphere.

The solution to this problem is the rail and drum exhaust extraction systems produced by NORFI.

Innovation of the TECHNORAIL rail:

In the TECHNORAIL type rail exhaust extraction systems, an innovative solution has been applied in the form of a separated channel intended for the transport of exhaust fumes from the channel in which the extraction trolley moves on wheels. In this way, the efficiency of the entire system has significantly increased, which also means that after applying this solution, we are able to propose fans with significantly lower power while maintaining the same technical (flow) parameters. This way, we reduce the electricity consumption needed to power the fans.

The second benefit of this solution is the significant extension of the service life of the extraction trolley and the running wheels, as they are not exposed to contact with exhaust fumes, which means that mainly the bearings are not contaminated with exhaust deposits and can work much longer.

The TECHNORAIL rail is made of aluminium, just like the extraction trolley. NORFI does not use plastics, as this material is not resistant to mechanical impacts nor

In 2017, the European Commission introduced a new regulation defining the energy efficiency of IE3 electric motors, based on which manufacturers of equipment equipped with electric motors were obliged to cease the production of motors in the IE2 efficiency class.

After making the necessary design changes and testing the new NORFI fan motors with IE3 efficiency class, it turned out that the performance of the N34 fan (0.37 kW) is suitable for drum exhaust extraction systems.

In consideration of the natural environment, NORFI Polska Sp. z o.o. decided to change the power of the electric motor to a smaller one (from 0.75 to 0.37 kW), which significantly affected the lower energy consumption of the device.

In the drum exhaust extraction systems, we also applied an innovative solution involving the coating of the interior of the NR-B and NR-CP type extraction hose with a special Teflon coating. Thanks to this, the flow resistance on the hose was reduced to a minimum. This procedure allowed us to use a fan with lower power while maintaining technical parameters, which further reduces the electricity consumption needed to power the device.

Norfi cares not only about the health and life of people working among engine exhaust fumes but also positively impacts the environment by reducing electricity consumption during the operation of exhaust extraction systems.
