Diamond Plus™ Wet/Dry Core Drills

• Diamond-tipped drills and core saws have been specially developed for professionals who need to drill into exceptionally hard materials such as porcelain/stoneware/stone tiles, cast iron, or fibreglass, where conventional core saws struggle. These core saws guarantee excellent performance and are characterised by great durability even with the hardest materials.
• Water saving: These core saws require only a small amount of water compared to conventional diamond drills, which require a continuous flow. Simply dip the drill or core saw in water at the start of each hole and then every 5 seconds during cutting.
• Clean holes: drills clean, precise holes without scratches on the perimeter.
• Durability: to ensure high durability, we use high-quality diamond for fast cutting and excellent bonding through brazing.

• Universal: can be used either on angle grinders with the appropriate adapter or on a drill.
• How to use with an angle grinder:
• 1. Screw the M14 grinder adapter onto the core saw and tighten firmly with a wrench. Then lock the spindle in the angle grinder and mount the adapter directly onto the spindle; tighten firmly with a wrench.
• 2. If the tile is not attached to the wall, make sure it is secured in a clamp.
• 3. Dip the tips of the core saw in water.
• 4. Turn on the angle grinder to full speed. Slowly approach the tile holding the core saw at a 20-30° angle and apply light pressure to avoid slipping on the tile. When the core saw begins to cut into the tile creating a groove, gradually raise the core saw so that it is positioned horizontally to the tile.
• 5. Dip the core saw in water every 5 seconds.
• 6. To maximise tool life, apply light pressure and perform an oscillating circular motion while cutting.
