Memory Saver, electrical system WTM/AZ-212
Index: WTM/AZ-212
Voltage maintaining device 12 V, battery capacity: 7 Ah
The device from the Polish company WTM, designated AZ-212, is an emergency power source. It is used to protect automotive electronics systems from data loss during vehicle servicing and maintenance work that requires battery disconnection.
Using the AZ-212 eliminates the need to re-enter settings such as radio receivers, mirror and seat memory, and the clock after disconnecting the battery from the vehicle's system. The device is connected via the cigarette lighter socket.
The AZ-212 is intended for electrical systems with a nominal voltage of 12 V, has an acoustic signal for the depletion of the built-in internal cell with a capacity of 7 Ah, and a three-colour signal for its charge level. The maximum continuous power consumption is 4 A, which allows for emergency power supply for a period of 1 hour. In the case of lower consumption, this period is extended, for example, at a value of 60 mA, it lasts 3 days.
