GP-1 PWM Signal Generator Purpose The GP-1 generator generates and allows the measurement of PWM signals. The frequency range of both the generated and measured signals corresponds to the frequency range used in the automotive industry. Device capabilities: The PWM signal measurement module provides information about the frequency and duty cycle of the measured signal. It is commonly used to analyze the correctness of control elements utilizing PWM signals. The PWM signal generator module is well-suited for: - controlling all types of electromagnetic control valves, commonly used in both petrol and diesel engines (e.g., EGR valve, turbocharger pressure relief valve, etc.), allowing for verification of their correct operation, - controlling the speed of direct current motors (DC motors), - controlling the fuel dose or ignition timing in fuel pumps used in diesel engines (adjustment of the dose actuator and ignition timing valve), - and controlling other devices using PWM signals, controlled by ground or supply voltage.
