Application of the programmer The TurboProg programmer is designed for two types of turbocharger controllers (actuators): - Hella - Siemens For Hella controllers, TurboProg allows: 1. reading the controller's operating parameters 2. storing the read parameters in the device's internal memory 3. writing parameters to the controller 4. copying the controller's parameters. The term operating parameters of the Hella controller refers to the following information: - controller type - gear number cooperating with the controller - version of the control program - lever operating range For Siemens controllers, TurboProg allows: 1. programming the controller's operating range (applies ONLY to Siemens controllers in a metal-plastic housing, Siemens controllers in a metal housing are not supported) 2. checking the controller's operating range Supported controllers The programmer supports the following controllers: - Hella controllers with the following designations: - 712120 - 730314 - 781751 - 763797 - Siemens controllers in a metal-plastic housing, used in turbochargers intended for VW/Audi group cars. The set includes: - TurboProg device - power adapter - user manual - connection cable for Hella controller - connection cable for Siemens controller - USB cable and software for device updates
