Vehicle sensor tester QST-5
The QST-5 device is designed for testing many popular sensors used in the automotive industry. The tester independently powers the tested sensors, so it can be used both in the vehicle and outside the vehicle. Sensors that can be checked with the QST-5:
- Crankshaft and camshaft sensors,
- ABS sensors,
- Rotational speed sensors,
- Temperature sensors (thermistors),
- Fuel/oil pressure sensors,
- Throttle position sensors, EGR, Turbine;
- Accelerator pedal position sensors,
- MAP and turbocharging sensors,
- Knock sensors,
- Clutch/brake pedal sensors,
- DPF/FAP differential pressure sensors,
- SENT protocol sensors,
- and others.
Thanks to the QST-5, testing sensors is convenient and simple. The sensor is connected using three numbered terminals. The device can automatically indicate the variant of the tested sensor (e.g., inductive or Hall) and provide the pinout. Then the user can perform a functional test by examining its response under different test conditions.
Advantages of the device:
- Quick and safe sensor test even without knowledge of the pinout,
- Easy to use: perfect for beginner users,
- Integrated measurement of electrical parameters R, L, C.
Additionally, there is an option to download an application for the Android system (smartphones, tablets), which allows remote reading of measurement screens and adding sensors with their parameters and optional photo to the database.
Technical parameters:
– Resistance measurement: 0 – 5MΩ
– Inductance measurement: 1mH – 5H
– Capacitance measurement: 100p – 2u
– Diode test: 0.1 – 3V.
– Sensor power supply: 5V DC
– Power supply: built-in Li-ion battery
– Operating time: min. 6 hours after full charge
Set contents:
– QST-5 device
– Measurement cable
– Mini USB cable
– 5V charger
– 3-pin jumper
– Protection
– CD-ROM with a tool for software update.
