The MX4000 device ionises atmospheric air to produce an unstable allotropic form of oxygen, namely ozone O3. Ozone, being a very strong oxidiser, removes all contaminants present in the cabin. It effectively removes moisture that accumulates mainly on floor coverings and on the air conditioning evaporator. It also eliminates unpleasant odours as well as fungi, bacteria, and viruses that may threaten our health. Thanks to its high efficiency – over 4000 mg/h, the device is perfect for use in buses and larger vehicle cabins, as well as allowing for faster disinfection of car cabins. Ozone (O3) is found in atmospheric air, where it is formed from oxygen under the influence of ultraviolet radiation. Ozone is a gas heavier than air, it is unstable and decomposes quickly. The decomposition is accelerated by an increase in temperature, humidity, and air pollution. In water, ozone decomposes faster than in air. In its gaseous form, it is colourless, in thicker layers it has a blue colour. In its liquid state, it is intensely dark blue, and in its solid state, almost black. Ozone is a very strong oxidising compound, much stronger than oxygen.
