Technical Specifications
TECNO PLASMA 40 COMP-AIR is a professional device for plasma cutting and MMA welding. It allows distortion-free cutting of: steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and copper. Electronically controlled, smooth cutting current adjustment. The device is perfect for both workshop and field work.
The cutter is equipped with an internal compressor and external compressed air connection allowing work in any conditions.
The cutter has two cutting modes: CUT (continuous operation) and GRID (intermittent operation).
A clear LED display allows precise adjustment of the device even in very strong lighting.
Option to select the button function on the handle between operation in 2T mode (no button lock) / 4T mode (button lock for long cuts).
The device has a torch cooling time adjustment after cutting is completed.
The device has functions that facilitate the MMA welding process with a coated electrode:
- ARC FORCE: short-circuit current adjustment - facilitates the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the welded material, preventing arc extinction when the electrode droplet contacts the weld pool.
- HOT START: hot start adjustment - facilitates electrode ignition by providing a higher welding current at each arc strike.
- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) Function - reduces the idle state voltage on the electrode to a safe value. Ensures anti-shock safety when working in a humid environment.
