Our discs combine redesigned fibre webs, resin, and mineral abrasive grain based on silicon carbide, which create a thick non-woven fabric with an open construction. The resilient nature of the fibres means our discs adapt more closely to the surface, ensuring better contact with the workpiece and faster cleaning. They adapt to weld splatter, polishing it without removing it, and allow work in hard-to-reach areas without damaging the substrate. Silicon carbide provides intense cutting, leaving a delicate finish. Burrs, dirt, and contaminants are effectively removed while maintaining the geometry of the workpiece, which in turn reduces the amount of rework and helps increase productivity. Additionally, the gaps in the non-woven fabric allow for chip removal, minimizing the clogging of the abrasive material. To ensure consistent cutting throughout its lifespan, the disc's reinforcing resin bond gradually breaks down during use, exposing new fibres and super sharp silicon carbide-based abrasive grain. The high-strength fibre is tear-resistant and performs well on edges. These discs also feature low vibration and sparking, high rotational speed, and long lifespan.
