Rust neutralizer (0,1 l), removing rust
Active corrosion protection and primer in one.
Protects metal from further corrosion by binding rust and creating a protective layer. Prepares the rusted surface for further processing.
The product is characterised by a short drying time, ease of use, and provides very good resistance to solvents.
Can be applied to a rusted surface, cleaned only of slightly sticky rust.
Application Process
– Use a wire brush to clean the damaged area of dirt and loosely adhering rust.
– Shake the bottle well before use.
– Apply the product evenly to the rusted surface.
– Depending on the degree of corrosion, it is recommended to apply 3 – 4 layers of the product.
– Before further processing, wait for the reaction time to pass until the surface becomes blue-black.
Directly on the protected surface, you can apply:
– Acrylic primer no earlier than about 3 hours after applying the last layer.
– Filler (both on sanded and unsanded surfaces), but no earlier than about 3 hours after applying the last layer.
– Spray acrylic lacquer (from the point of view of corrosion protection, coating durability).
and for the final effect, it is recommended to use an intermediate layer in the form of an acrylic primer).
For the best final effect, it is recommended:
– Before applying the acrylic primer directly to the dried Rust Filler layer, gently sand the surface with fine paper, e.g., sandpaper. P320 dry, then dust off (you can gently wipe with a silicone remover) and apply the acrylic primer.
– Before applying the spray topcoat directly to the dried Rust Filler, sand the surface dry with P500 paper or wet with P1000 – P1200 paper.
– Before applying filler directly to the dried Rust Filler layer, sand the surface dry with P150 – P180 paper.
Recommendations: use only in well-ventilated areas or outdoors.
Drying time*: 6 – 8 hours.
*at a temperature of 20°C and relative humidity of 50%.
