For a uniform finish, use the 3M™ Hookit™ Purple 260L Film Disc — our discs with fast-cutting, long-lasting aluminium oxide abrasive material. Use them for sanding the top layer to even out and remove inclusions and excess orange peel from the finish of the topcoat before repainting or polishing. Discs can be easily removed from backing pads. They are faster and easier to use than scuff pads, and also faster and cleaner than wet sanding. Use for surface blending before painting.
