3M™ Polyurethane Sealants are moisture-curing 1K polyurethane products designed for sealing joints in automotive body repairs.

3M™ Polyurethane Sealant is a high adhesive content 1K product that cures to a hard, permanently elastic material within 24 hours after exposure to atmospheric moisture. (Curing speed depends on grain thickness and environmental conditions). Resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +90°C (temporarily up to 120°C). Ideal for sealing medium and wide automotive body seams, weld seams, and even suitable for use on wood or plastics. Can be applied directly to bare steel, can be used as a joint sealant. This application must be done while the product is still wet (within 35 minutes of application). The product must be left to cure (min. 45 minutes!) before applying water-based base coats.
