Set of tools for fitting 03.9314-3000.3
Index: 03.9314-3000.3
Set of tools for fitting, intended use: bearing, hub
Cars with wheel bearings integrated into the disc or drum brake are increasingly appearing on the market. During the installation, the bearing may tilt on the axle stub. When attempting to remove the disc or drum from the axle stub again, the bearings disintegrate without the possibility of repair.
Using the ATE kit for safe sleeve installation avoids such tilting.
According to the diameter from the kit, the appropriate installation sleeve is selected and inserted into the integrated bearing. In this way, the two inner rings are roughly aligned. Then the disc or drum brake along with the installation sleeve is placed on the threaded stub axle (lightly oiled) and can be pushed to the stop without any problem or tilting.
