CHARACTERISTICS:

 

Device for double-sided welding of low-carbon, stainless, galvanised, and spring steel sheets with a maximum thickness of 3+3mm. Designed for production work.

 

Spot welding parameters:

 

• power (%): spot welding current expressed as a percentage value relative to the maximum value;

 

• approach (cycles): waiting time in cycles before delivering current, starting from the contact of the electrodes with the workpiece;

 

• ramp (cycles): time in cycles used by the spot welding current to reach the value set using “power”;

 

• spot welding time (cycles): time in cycles during which the current value is maintained at the set value;

 

• pause time (cycles): time in cycles during which the current is zero between two consecutive pulses (only in pulsing mode);

 

• number of pulses (nr): 1 - spot welding will end after the spot welding time (4); if greater than 1, indicates the number of current pulses delivered by the device (pulsing function);

 

• circular synoptic indicator, with the numerical value of the set cycles in the central part;

 

Each time the machine is switched on and before pressing the "START" button, it is possible to change the mode in which you intend to set the welding parameters:

 

• “REDUCED” mode = EASY: allows quick and intuitive selection of two main welding parameters “POWER” and “spot welding time”. This mode does not allow saving personal programs.

 

• “EXTENDED” mode = EXPERT: allows selection of all welding parameters described in the previous paragraph. This mode allows saving customised programs.
