Lights adjusting/regulation device Analogue / laser baseline projector FUDIM/USP-20PLA
Index: FUDIM/USP-20PLA
Lights adjusting/regulation device Analogue / laser baseline projector USP-20PLA, supported light sources: Bi-Xenon; Halogen; Xenon
Device for measuring the alignment and brightness of vehicle lighting
Type USP–20
The optical device allows for the measurement of the brightness of vehicle lighting of all types and assists in their alignment. It is equipped with a head with a photometric system that enables the measurement of light intensity (or brightness measurement) of high beams or low beams.
Important for Vehicle Inspection Stations
In our devices, the measurement of high beam brightness is conducted in units [kcd], which complies with point 4.1.7 of Annex No. 1 to the MTBiGM regulation of June 26, 2012 (Journal of Laws, item 996) regarding the scope and manner of conducting technical inspections and the patterns of documents used in these inspections.
Construction Description
The device consists of a head (also containing the photometric system) equipped with a slider, a cart with a pole, and a base projector depending on the device variant:
PLA – laser base projector
Measurement method
The device approaches the car positioned at the station and aligns its optical axis parallel to the car's symmetry plane using, depending on the device variant:
– PLA – the laser light line emitted by the laser projector
The role of a normal wall screen at a distance of 10 m is fulfilled by the device screen. The focusing lens allows reducing the distance between the screen and the tested reflector to ~0.8 m. The applied leveling corrector (foot-operated) and level enable precise light alignment even with slight unevenness of the position.
