TIG welder
The MagicWave device is a fully digital TIG-AC/DC welding source, specifically used for welding aluminium. In addition to various power classes from 170 to 500 A, the devices also differ in mobility — from portable devices to efficient, comprehensive systems. MagicWave is distinguished by its robust construction and simple operation concept.
Characteristics:
- TIG welding current range: 3–230 A, electrode 10–190 A
- Multilingual menu
- MagicWave230i and TransTig 230i devices communicate wirelessly
with peripheral devices using Bluetooth, WLAN, and NFC technology
- Lightweight, easy to transport
- Ease of configuration and individual adjustment of welding torches
- Set includes: Transport trolley, 50mm² ground cable, welding package
- THP 300i W ML/F++/UD/Le/4m/LED, cooler 600t /MC)

Open circuit voltage | 100.0 V |
Mains frequency | 50-60Hz |
Mains voltage [+/-15%] | 230V |
Mains fuse | 16A |
Dimensions / width | 210.0 mm |
Dimensions / length | 558.0 mm |
Weight | 17.0 kg |
Protection class | IP23 |
Product Features:
ACTIVE WAVE TECHNOLOGY
Active Wave technology ensures more silence during TIG welding. The integrated, real-time digital signal processor always calculates a waveform that allows for maximum possible arc stability with minimal noise emission. Acoustic pressure measurement clearly indicates that the use of Active Wave technology, even at 300 A power, results in a dbA value still lower than 80 dbA.
TAC - The TAC function requires only one point for tacking, as during pulsed current welding, two weld pools are set in motion, causing them to "merge" into one weld pool in the shortest time. Additionally, the TAC function can be used for welding thin sheets without filler.
HIGH FREQUENCY IGNITION
Contactless and gentle high-frequency ignition is the simplest way to ignite the welding arc.
CONTACT IGNITION
Contact ignition can be used particularly in sensitive application areas. This avoids electromagnetic interference that may occur during high-frequency ignition.
AUTOMATIC CALOT FORMATION
This function allows for automatic calot formation during aluminium welding, resulting in significant time savings. The size is determined by the user.
