TIG welder EXPERT TIG 210 AC/DC PFC
Index: EXTIG210AC/Z
TIG welder EXPERT TIG 210 AC/DC PFC inverter, for aluminium; for stainless steel, 5,7kW, maximum current: 210A, welding Processes: MMA / TIG AC/DC
EXPERT TIG 210 AC/DC PFC is a professional inverter welder for TIG welding of all metals, including aluminium and stainless steel. The device allows TIG and TIG PULSE welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), mixed (MIX), and MMA.
CHARACTERISTICS:
- EXPERT TIG 210 AC/DC PFC is a portable power source, made with IGBT technology, designed for welding using TIG and TIG PULSE methods with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), mixed (MIX) and MMA method with a coated electrode. Its small size and weight make the device perfect for both workshop and field work.
- The device has welding modes: TIG AC, TIG AC PULSE, TIG DC, TIG DC PULSE, TIG MIX, TIG SPOT, TIG 2-LEVEL, MMA.
- The TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE functions are used for welding aluminium steel. The TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper, and titanium. Welding is performed in an inert gas shield.
- The TIG MIX function: a special TIG welding method that combines direct and alternating current, allowing for full penetration and effective cleaning when welding aluminium.
- The TIG SPOT function: allows for tacking thin materials.
- The TIG 2-LEVEL function: "2-level" current regulation allows switching between higher and lower current levels by pressing the button on the welding torch.
- By adjusting the parameters of the TIG PULSE welding, we can influence the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulsed welding also allows for reducing the amount of heat delivered to the material and is used when welding thin materials.
- Arc ignition occurs in non-contact (HF) or contact (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used when welding in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the surroundings.
- Both with non-contact HF ignition and contact LIFT ignition, we have the option to choose the button function on the TIG torch between working in 2-stroke or 4-stroke mode (button lock for long welds).
- A clear and easy-to-use digital control panel allows for precise device adjustment, ensuring stable parameters and high welding quality.
- The welder also has functions that facilitate the welding process using the MMA method with a coated electrode:
- ARC FORCE: short-circuit current regulation - facilitates the transfer of the molten electrode drop to the welded material, preventing arc extinction when the electrode drop contacts the weld pool.
- HOT START: hot start regulation - facilitates electrode ignition by providing a higher welding current at each arc ignition.
- ANTI STICK: anti-short circuit - automatically switches off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the welded material, making it easier to detach and preventing accidental arc formation.
- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function - reduces the idle voltage on the electrode to a safe value. Ensures anti-shock safety when working in a humid environment.
The digital display facilitates the adjustment of the following welder parameters:
- initial shielding gas flow
- initial current
- current rise time
- welding current
- base current
- current fall time
- final current
- final shielding gas flow
- pulse length
- pulse frequency
- AC frequency
- HOT START value
- ARC FORCE value
- gas test
The advanced settings mode allows for the management of additional device functions:
- selection of adjustment location: device panel or remote foot control
- TIG mode: continuous, spot, 2-level
- save and read 10 welding programs
- selection of ignition type for TIG DC: normal polarity or reverse polarity
- VRD function: on or off
- adjustment of HOT START function time
- adjustment of TIG spot welding time
- restore factory settings
