TIG DC welder PRAKTIK TIG 202 PULSE DIGITAL
Index: PTIG202DP
TIG DC welder PRAKTIK TIG 202 PULSE DIGITAL inverter, for stainless steel, 4,8kW, maximum current: 200A, welding Processes: MMA / TIG DC
PRAKTIK TIG 202 PULSE DIGITAL
PRAKTIK TIG 202 DC PULSE DIGITAL is a professional inverter welder for welding using the TIG and TIG PULSE methods, as well as the MMA method with a coated electrode using direct current (DC).
Power supply 230V. Welding current 5-200A.
CHARACTERISTICS:
The small size and weight make the device perfect for both workshop and field work.
The device has three welding modes: TIG DC, TIG DC PULSE, MMA.
The TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper, and titanium. Welding is carried out in an inert gas shield.
Thanks to the adjustment of TIG DC PULSE pulsed welding parameters, we can influence the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulsed welding also allows reducing the amount of heat delivered to the material and is used when welding thin materials.
Arc ignition occurs in non-contact (HF) or contact (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used when welding in an environment with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the surroundings.
Both with non-contact HF and contact LIFT ignition, we have the option to select the button function on the TIG torch between 2-stroke or 4-stroke mode (button lock for long welds).
The clear and easy-to-use digital control panel allows precise device adjustment, ensuring stable parameters and high welding quality.
The digital display facilitates the adjustment of welder parameters:
- initial shielding gas flow
- initial current
- current rise time
- welding current
- base current
- current fall time
- final current
- final shielding gas flow
- pulse length
- pulse frequency
The welder also has functions that facilitate the MMA welding process with a coated electrode:
- ARC FORCE: short-circuit current adjustment - facilitates the transfer of the molten electrode drop to the welded material, preventing arc extinction when the electrode drop contacts the weld pool
- HOT START: hot start adjustment - facilitates electrode ignition by providing a higher welding current at each arc ignition.
- ANTI STICK: anti-short-circuit - automatically switches off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the welded material, making it easier to detach and preventing accidental arc formation
- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function - reduces the idle state resting voltage on the electrode to a safe value. Ensures anti-shock safety when working in a humid environment.
MAIN FEATURES:
Physical parameters:
- The device has a fan cooling system which significantly increases its efficiency.
- The quick coupling for connecting the gas to the welding torch allows for immediate connection and disconnection of the welding torch without the use of tools.
- The device is equipped with overload protection, which increases its reliability.
Power parameters:
Single-phase power supply 230V. The device is equipped with a power plug.
Equipment:
The delivery includes the device with a complete set of TIG and MMA accessories: TIG 17 welding torch with a length of 4 metres, MMA electrode cable with a length of 2m, grounding cable with a length of 1.5m.
