TIG welder EXPERT TIG 220 AC/DC PULSE
Index: EXTIG220AW
TIG welder EXPERT TIG 220 AC/DC PULSE inverter, for aluminium; for stainless steel, 8kW, maximum current: 200A, welding Processes: MMA / TIG AC/DC
EXPERT TIG 220 AC/DC PULSE W +cooler, trolley
EXPERT TIG 220 AC/DC is a professional inverter welder for TIG welding of all metals including aluminium and stainless steel. The device allows TIG and TIG PULSE welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC) and MMA
Technical parameters
EXPERT TIG 220 AC/DC PULSE W is a portable power source, made in IGBT technology, designed for TIG and TIG PULSE welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), and MMA welding with a coated electrode using direct current (DC). Its small size and weight make the device perfect for both workshop and field work.
The device has welding modes: TIG DC, TIG DC PULSE, TIG AC, TIG AC PULSE, MMA AC, MMA DC.
The TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper, and titanium.
The TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE functions allow welding of aluminium and its alloys as well as brass.
TIG 2-LEVEL function: "2-level" current regulation allows switching between higher and lower current levels by pressing the button on the welding torch.
TIG SPOT function: allows tacking of thin materials.
Thanks to the adjustment of TIG PULSE welding parameters, we can influence the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulsed welding also allows reducing the amount of heat delivered to the material and is used when welding thin materials.
Arc ignition occurs in a non-contact (HF) or contact (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used when welding in an environment with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the surroundings.
Both with non-contact HF ignition and contact LIFT ignition, we have the option to select the button function on the TIG torch between working in 2-stroke or 4-stroke mode (button lock for long welds).
A clear and easy-to-use digital control panel allows precise device adjustment, ensuring stable parameters and high welding quality.
The device has 9 user welding program memory slots.
Digital displays facilitate the adjustment of welder parameters:
- initial shielding gas flow
- initial current
- current rise time
- welding current
- base current
- current fall time
- final current
- final shielding gas flow
- pulse length
- pulse frequency
- AC balance
- AC frequency
- HOT START value
- ARC FORCE value
From the control panel, we can select the AC voltage waveform:
- TIG AC – rectangular voltage waveform
- TIG AC – sinusoidal voltage waveform
The welder also has functions that facilitate the welding process using the MMA method with a coated electrode:
ARC FORCE: short-circuit current regulation (manual) - facilitates the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the welded material, preventing arc extinction when the electrode droplet contacts the weld pool
HOT START: hot start regulation (manual) - facilitates electrode ignition by providing higher welding current at each arc ignition.
ANTI STICK: anti-short-circuit - automatically turns off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the welded material, making it easier to detach and preventing accidental arc ignition
Physical parameters
The device has a cooler which significantly increases its efficiency and protects against overheating of the torch.
The quick connector for connecting the gas to the welding torch allows immediate connection and disconnection of the welding torch without tools.
The device is equipped with overload protection, which increases its reliability.
Power parameters
Single-phase power supply 230 V.
The device is equipped with a power plug.
Equipment
The delivery includes the device with a set of TIG and MMA accessories: TIG 18 welding torch with remote control of 4 metres, MMA electrode cable of 3m, ground cable of 3m, tilt trolley, and cooler.
