EXPERT TIG 202 AC/DC PULSE Pro3.5 LCD
Basic Information
EXPERT TIG 202 AC/DC PULSE Pro3.5 LCD is a professional inverter welder for TIG welding of all metals including aluminium and stainless steel. The device allows TIG and TIG PULSE welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC) and MMA.
Technical Parameters
EXPERT TIG 202 AC/DC PULSE Pro3.5 LCD is a portable power source, made with IGBT technology, designed for TIG and TIG PULSE welding as well as MMA welding with a coated electrode using direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC). Its small size and weight make it perfect for both workshop and field work.
The device has three welding modes: TIG DC, TIG AC, TIG DC PULSE, TIG AC PULSE, MMA, MMA PULSE.
The TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper, and titanium. Welding is performed in an inert gas shield.
The TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE functions allow welding of aluminium and its alloys as well as brass.
Thanks to the adjustment of pulsed welding parameters TIG PULSE, we can influence the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulsed welding also allows reducing the amount of heat delivered to the material and is used when welding thin materials.
Arc ignition occurs in a non-contact (HF) or contact (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used when welding in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the surroundings.
Both with non-contact HF and contact LIFT ignition, we have the option to choose the button function on the TIG torch between 2-stroke, 4-stroke (button lock for long welds) and two-level RPT mode (switching between two current levels). Additionally, only for TIG HF, there is also the possibility of spot welding (SPOT).
A clear and easy-to-use digital control panel allows precise device adjustment, ensuring stable parameters and high welding quality. The source also has extended user settings, such as screen brightness level, date setting, and fan operation in semi-passive mode (SMART).
The source also has full synergy in each method, extended with a special TIG method mode (SMART TIG). It allows the selection of initial welding parameters, under which the source will set the output parameters.
The LCD display facilitates the adjustment of device parameters.
- Initial shielding gas flow
- Initial current
- Current rise time
- Welding current
- Base current
- Current fall time
- Final current
- Final shielding gas flow
- Pulse length
- Pulse frequency
- Intermittent welding length
- HOT START adjustment
- ARC FORCE adjustment
From the control panel, we can select the AC voltage waveform:
- TIG AC – rectangular voltage waveform
- TIG AC – sinusoidal voltage waveform
- TIG AC – triangular voltage waveform
The welder also has functions that facilitate the MMA welding process with a coated electrode:
ARC FORCE: short-circuit current adjustment - facilitates the transfer of the molten electrode drop to the welded material, preventing arc extinction when the electrode drop contacts the weld pool
HOT START: hot start adjustment - facilitates electrode ignition by providing higher welding current at each arc ignition
ANTI STICK: anti-short-circuit - automatically switches off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the welded material, making it easier to detach and preventing accidental arc formation
Physical Parameters
The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency.
Quick connector for connecting the welding torch gas allows immediate connection and disconnection of the welding torch without tools.
The device is equipped with overload protection, which increases its reliability.
Power Parameters
Single-phase power supply 230V.
The device is equipped with a power plug.
Equipment
The delivery includes the device with a complete set of TIG and MMA accessories: TIG 26 welding torch with remote control, 4 metres long, MMA electrode cable 3m long, ground cable 3m long, and gas hose with quick connector.
Warranty Conditions
12-month warranty for professional use.
