Index: TTIG220ACMPX

TIG welder TECNOTIG 220 AC/DC PULSE MPX inverter, for aluminium; for stainless steel, 6,2kW, maximum current: 220A, welding Processes: MMA / TIG AC/DC

Description
TECNOTIG 220 AC/DC PULSE MPX is a professional inverter welder for TIG welding of all metals, including aluminium and stainless steel. The device allows TIG and TIG PULSE welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), mixed (MIX), and MMA welding with a coated electrode using direct current (DC). Power supply 230V, welding current 5-220A. Technical Specifications TECNO TIG 220 AC/DC PULSE MPX is a portable power source, made with IGBT technology, designed for TIG and TIG PULSE welding with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), and MMA welding with a coated electrode using direct current (DC). Its small size and weight make the device ideal for both workshop and fieldwork. The device features welding modes: TIG DC, TIG DC PULSE, TIG AC, TIG AC PULSE, TIG MIX, TIG SPOT, MMA. The TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper, and titanium. The TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE functions enable welding of aluminium and its alloys, as well as brass. The TIG MIX function is a special TIG welding method that combines direct and alternating current, allowing for full penetration and effective cleaning during aluminium welding. The TIG SPOT (TACK) function allows for tacking thin materials. The very short weld time (adjustable from 0.01 seconds) enables the creation of small spot welds without material deformation. By adjusting the parameters of the TIG PULSE pulsed welding, we can influence the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulsed welding also reduces the amount of heat delivered to the material and is used when welding thin materials. Arc ignition occurs in non-contact (HF) or contact (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the surroundings. Both with non-contact HF and contact LIFT ignition, we have the option to choose the function of the button on the TIG torch between 2-stroke or 4-stroke mode (button lock for long welds). A clear and easy-to-use digital control panel allows precise adjustment of the device, ensuring stable parameters and high-quality welding. The device has the function of saving parameters for 20 welding programs. The digital display facilitates the adjustment of welder parameters: initial shielding gas flow initial current current rise time welding current base current current fall time final current final shielding gas flow pulse length pulse frequency AC balance AC frequency The welder also has functions that facilitate the MMA welding process with a coated electrode: ARC FORCE: manual short-circuit current adjustment - facilitates the transfer of the molten electrode drop to the welded material, preventing arc extinction when the electrode drop contacts the weld pool. HOT START: manual hot start adjustment - facilitates electrode ignition by providing a higher welding current at each arc ignition. ANTI STICK: anti-short-circuit - automatically switches off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the welded material, making it easier to detach and preventing accidental arc formation. Physical Parameters The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency. The quick-connect gas connection to the welding torch allows for immediate connection and disconnection of the welding torch without tools. The device is equipped with overload protection, which increases its reliability. Power Supply Parameters Single-phase power supply 230V. The device is equipped with a power plug. Equipment The delivery includes the device with a complete set of TIG and MMA accessories: TIG 26 welding torch with a length of 4 meters, MMA electrode cable with a length of 3 meters, and a ground cable with a length of 3 meters. Warranty Conditions 12-month warranty for professional use.
