Camshaft timing lock tool MERCEDES 1.6/2.0 HP904 500 00

Timing Lock Mercedes-Benz 1.6, 2.0 W654 Chain Engines W654 (2016 - 2020 >) DIESEL

 

1.6 and 2.0 engines have a timing chain mounted at the rear of the engine

After removing the engine, the HP904 500 00 tool kit allows the user to lock the camshafts and crankshaft in their set position for chain replacement.

Note: This kit can also be used to lock the camshaft and crankshaft with the engine in the vehicle when checking the timing.

 

Additional tool:

When reassembling the camshaft gears, it is recommended to use the HP904 019 70 tool for assembling split gears.
