Universal anaerobic adhesive TE A-525 10 G
Index: TE A-525 10 G
Universal anaerobic adhesive, protection (feature): from unfastening / Sealing, intended use (parts, components): for bearings
Anaerobic adhesives are one of the most important achievements of chemical engineering in the field of metal bonding (steel, brass, aluminium, etc.). They are characterised by the fact that bonding occurs after cutting off the air supply in contact with two surfaces (at least one of which is metal). The metal acts as a catalyst. Initial bonding occurs after 15 minutes. The joint achieves full strength after approximately 24 hours. Anaerobic adhesives are also intended for bonding and sealing combinations of different materials, e.g. metals with plastics, glass, rubber.
The blue anaerobic adhesive with medium bonding strength is designed to secure threaded connections against loosening, to seat lightly loaded bearings, and to seal matched threaded connections. It perfectly replaces cotter pins and spring washers. It is also used in the assembly and sealing of devices that require quick disassembly in case of failure.
