Laser measuring devices Laser GTO-Laser 4 heads / on cabinet, diagnostic pit: lift and pit
GTO Laser allows for the inspection of wheel alignment geometry in cars: passenger vehicles and so-called minivans, as well as delivery vehicles with wheel rims ranging from 12" to 18" in diameter. It is a laser-mechanical device through which horizontal angles (wheel alignment, front axle wheel displacement, and deviation of the geometric driving axis from the symmetry axis) are measured optically using low-energy semiconductor lasers, while vertical angles (wheel camber angles and caster and kingpin inclination angles) are measured mechanically. The use of laser light beams allows for measurement even in very intense sunlight. The lasers used are completely safe. The measuring units are powered by new-generation rechargeable batteries (without memory effect). Charging and recharging of the batteries is fully automatic when the measuring units are placed on the storage stands. There is, of course, the possibility of wired operation.
GTO Laser, in its most advanced four-sensor version, allows for full wheel geometry measurement even in accident-damaged vehicles. Thanks to its simple construction, GTO instruments practically do not require manufacturer servicing. The user, using a control beam and a special mirror-checking tool, can verify the accuracy of the readings.
The GTO Laser instrument is designed for quick measurement of wheel alignment in various types of vehicles with wheel rims ranging from 12" to 18" in diameter. The main advantage of this instrument is the measurement of the half-toe of the front wheels relative to the geometric driving axis, taking into account the displacement of the front axle wheels. With a single mounting, the GTO Laser instrument allows for the measurement or calculation of the following parameters:
- rear wheel camber angles (*),
- rear wheel half-toe (*),
- total rear wheel toe (*),
- deviation of the geometric driving axis from the symmetry axis (*),
- caster angles of the kingpins,
- front wheel camber angles,
- kingpin inclination angles,
- front wheel half-toe,
- total front wheel toe,
- front axle wheel displacement,
- non-parallelism of wheel axes,
- difference in wheel steering angles when turning 20°,
- wheel tracking (*).
NOTE! (*) - only for measurement with an instrument equipped with 4 measuring units.
