Metal Guard
Ceramic coating for rims and metal components. Thanks to its durability, it is perfect for surfaces exposed to high temperatures, such as exhaust tips or brake calipers.
Metal Guard effectively protects against road salt, metallic corrosion, and other contaminants. Dirt does not permanently adhere to the protected surface, making maintenance quick, simple, and without the need for strong chemicals.
The product provides a high gloss. You can also use it on matte elements, where it enhances the satin appearance of the surface. The coating is highly hydrophobic, allowing your rims to stay clean longer.
Metal Guard is easy and quick to apply, yet very efficient. Just a few millilitres of the product are enough to protect a set of 4 rims. Our bestseller is one of the most durable coatings on the market, providing your rims with protection for 2 seasons after application.

APPLICATION
- Thoroughly wash the rims. Perform chemical decontamination and use clay.
- Polish the rims if they have any scratches or holograms.
- Degrease the surface using Ultracoat Finest Wipe or IPA and wait a few minutes for evaporation.
- Prepare the product, applicator, and a new microfiber cloth.
- Generously apply the product to the edge of the applicator.
- Thoroughly spread the product on the surface, repeating several times in the same areas. Microfiber wiping should be minimized.
- Wait about 2 minutes and check if there is any rainbow effect on the surface. If necessary, remove it with a microfiber cloth.
- Wait 24 hours for curing.
TIPS
- Do not apply protective coatings outdoors, especially in direct sunlight.
- Ideal conditions for coating application are a temperature of 18-22°C and humidity between 50-70%.
- If the temperature and humidity are higher than recommended, the coating will start to cure faster, so you need to be ready for quicker wiping.
- If the temperature and humidity are lower than recommended, the coating will start to cure slower, so you will need to wait longer before wiping.
- Always use new microfiber cloths.
- Apply in a well-lit room.
- For a better effect, apply an additional layer. You can do this immediately after applying the first one.
- The coating requires 24 hours of curing at the application site. Use washing chemicals only 7 days after coating application.
