Description

2K polyurethane protective coating 3:1

2-component polyurethane protective agent with a structural effect.

Advantages

  • The product has excellent chemical (oil, gasoline, water, salt) and mechanical (scratches, stains) resistance
  • Resistant to weather conditions (UV filters) and corrosion (anti-corrosion agents)
  • Can be used on various substrates.
  • It can be applied with a UBS lambskin gun, a conventional gravity feed gun, or with a bottom feed air sprayer.

The product can be applied to the following surfaces:

  • Steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum – apply after sanding the surface with P180 to P320 grit sandpaper or cleaning the surface with abrasive blasting to a cleanliness grade of Sa 2 ½ according to PN-ISO 12944-4. To increase anti-corrosion protection and adhesion, it is recommended to apply Rangers over Troton epoxy or reactive primers (Wash Primer).
  • Polyester laminates - sand with P180 grit paper or Troton abrasive cloth, blow off, degrease (Troton Silicone Remover).
  • Polyester putties - sand with P120 to P240 grit paper, blow off, degrease (Silicone Remover Troton).
  • Plastics - degrease (Troton Silicone Remover), sand with P240 grit paper or Troton abrasive cloth, degrease (Troton Silicone Remover), and apply Troton Plastic Primer. Due to the variety of plastics, perform an adhesion test.

ATTENTION!

Do not apply over single-component 1K primers. Instead, use a two-component 2K acrylic or epoxy primer or an etch primer. Do not apply RANGERS directly over bare factory paint or bare aftermarket bodywork.

2K Polyurethane Protective Coating 3:1

2-Component Polyurethane Protective Agent with Structural Effect.

Advantages

  • The product has excellent chemical resistance (oil, petrol, water, salt) and mechanical resistance (scratches, stains)
  • Resistant to weather conditions (UV filters) and corrosion (anti-corrosion agents)
  • Can be used on various substrates.
  • It can be applied with a UBS underbody gun and a conventional gravity-fed gun, as well as by pneumatic spraying with bottom feed.

The product can be applied to the following substrates:

  • Steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminium – apply after pre-sanding the surface with sandpaper of grit from P180 to P320 or cleaning the surface by abrasive blasting to a cleanliness degree of Sa 2 ½ according to PN-ISO 12944-4. To increase anti-corrosion protection and adhesion, it is recommended to apply Rangers on epoxy or reactive primers (Wash Primer) Troton.
  • Polyester laminates - sand with P180 grit paper or Troton abrasive fleece, blow off, degrease (Silicone Remover Troton).
  • Polyester fillers - sand with grit paper from P120 to P240, blow off, degrease (Silicone Remover Troton).
  • Plastics - degrease (Silicone Remover Troton), sand with P240 grit paper or Troton abrasive fleece, degrease (Silicone Remover Troton), use Plastic Primer Troton to increase adhesion. Due to the variety of plastics, perform an adhesion test.

WARNING!

Do not apply the agent on single-component 1K primers. Instead, use a two-component 2K acrylic or epoxy primer or an etching primer. Do not apply the RANGERS product directly on raw factory coatings or raw coatings of aftermarket body parts.
