Putty filler with aluminium aluminium, galvanized metal, steel 1,8kg
Index: 0RS009-1.8KG
PROFIRS Putty filler with aluminium 1,8kg, intended use: aluminium, galvanized metal, steel; colour: Grey
ALUMINIUM FILLER: 0RS009-0.5KG, 0RS009-1.8KG, 0RS009-1KG
Characteristics:
Fine-grained filler with aluminium flakes. It is characterised by particular ease of modelling in thin layers and ease of processing with high grit abrasives starting from P150. The filler has high resistance to elevated temperatures and mechanical loads. The possibility of using high grit abrasives (coarse sanding P150) and the adjusted hardness of the filler to paint coatings eliminates the formation of transitions between the filler and the repaired surface. For filling irregularities on steel surfaces exposed to elevated temperatures and mechanical loads (e.g. vibrations). Intended for manual and machine processing with dry abrasives. It is easy to model, very soft in grinding processing. Does not clog the abrasive material during sanding. It has very good adhesion to the substrate, used among other things to reinforce the surface weakened after bodywork repair, increasing the mechanical strength of the repaired element.
Does not require the use of a finishing filler.
Method of use:
The repaired substrate must be clean, dry, degreased and matted. Thoroughly mix the filler mass with the hardener in an amount of 2-3% by weight, then apply to the substrate for approx. 5 min. at 20 oC - higher temperature shortens the product's life and accelerates the curing process.
NOTE: Overdosing the hardener may cause discolouration of the topcoat. It is not recommended to use the product at temperatures below 15 oC.
