Technical parameters
EXPERT MULTIMIG 200 TIG AC/DC is an inverter synergic semi-automatic welding machine designed for arc welding using MIG/MAG, MIG FLUX, TIG, and TIG PULSE methods with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), and MMA shielded electrode welding with direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC). The device is designed for a wide range of applications: from maintenance work to car body repairs.
EXPERT MULTIMIG 200 is used for brazing galvanized sheets, welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, and aluminum. Welding is performed in an inert, active, or mixed gas shield, and with reverse polarity without gas.
The TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper, and titanium.
The TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE functions allow welding of aluminum and its alloys, as well as brass.
Thanks to the adjustment of TIG PULSE welding parameters, we can influence the shape of the weld and the concentration of the arc. Pulsed welding also allows reducing the amount of heat delivered to the material and is used when welding thin materials.
Arc ignition occurs in non-contact (HF) or contact (LIFT) mode. The LIFT function is used when welding in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the surroundings.
In both the MIG/MAG method and non-contact TIG HF ignition as well as contact TIG LIFT, we have the option to choose the button function on the handle between 2-stroke or 4-stroke mode (button lock for long welds).
The device has a manual mode and 19 synergic MIG/MAG programs with adjustable settings:
pre-welding gas
post-welding gas
wire approach
wire burn-back
spot welding time
spot welding break
inductance
The digital display facilitates the adjustment of TIG welder parameters:
initial shielding gas flow
initial current
current rise time
welding current
base current
current fall time
final current
pulse length
pulse frequency
AC balance
AC frequency
final shielding gas flow
HOT START value
ARC FORCE value
From the control panel, we can select the AC voltage waveform:
TIG AC – triangular voltage waveform
TIG AC – rectangular voltage waveform
TIG AC – sinusoidal voltage waveform
The welding parameter saving function facilitates work on different materials without the need to reset the device when changing gas and wire.
Physical parameters
The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency.
The fan cooling system - activated only when needed - limits contamination inside the device.
The device is equipped with overload protection, over and under-voltage protection, for operation with a power generator (+/- 15%), which increases its reliability.
Power parameters
Single-phase power supply. 230V.
The device is equipped with a power plug.
Equipment
The delivery includes the device with a MIG 24 welding torch 3 meters long, a TIG 26 torch 4 meters long, and an electrode and ground cable 3 meters long.
