The Ctek MXS 3.8 microprocessor charger is a charger using the latest technology, which was previously used exclusively in professional CTEK products. The charger provides a comprehensive solution for charging batteries, even for high-demand applications. The MXS 3.8 offers features such as battery diagnosis indicating whether the battery can receive and hold a charge, reconditioning to renew completely discharged batteries with stratified electrolyte, unique maintenance charging, optimal charging mode in low temperatures, and charging demanding AGM batteries (e.g., Optima). The display shows all instructions regarding the charging procedure for the user. The MXS 3.8 charger is a fully automatic 7-step charger providing charging of 0.8 A or 3.8 A batteries to 12 V from 1.2-80 Ah, also allowing maintenance charging up to 130 Ah. The charger has an IP 65 rating (protection against water and dust) and is designed to protect car electronic components, with protection against sparking and reverse polarity, as well as short-circuit protection. The charger comes with a 5-year warranty.

MXS 3.8 is a 7-step battery charger and maintainer controlled by a microprocessor, designed for batteries with a capacity from 1.2Ah to 85Ah. The device has a range of functions, including: battery diagnostics to check the ability to accept and retain charge, patented desulfation program, "Snowflake" mode for charging on cold days, programs to choose from for charging batteries with smaller and standard capacities.

*) Reverse current is the current that drains the battery if the charger is not connected to the mains. CTEK chargers have very low reverse current.

**) The quality of the charging voltage and charging current is very important. High current ripple heats the battery, causing the positive electrode to age.
