Description
2-Component polyurethane protective agent with a structural effect.
Advantages
The product has excellent chemical resistance (oil, petrol, water, salt) and mechanical resistance (scratches, stains).
Resistant to weather conditions (UV filters) and corrosion (anti-corrosion agents). Can be used on various substrates. It can be applied using a UBS underbody gun and a conventional gravity-fed gun.
Substrates - The product can be applied to the following substrates:
- Steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel, aluminium - apply on epoxy or acrylic primers after sanding the surface with sandpaper of grit from P180 to P320, degrease (Silicone Remover Troton).
- Polyester laminates - sand with P180 grit paper or Troton abrasive fleece, blow off, degrease (Silicone Remover Troton).
- Polyester fillers - sand with sandpaper of grit from P120 to P240, blow off, degrease (Silicone Remover Troton).
- Plastics - degrease (Silicone Remover Troton), sand with P240 grit paper or Troton abrasive fleece, degrease (Silicone Remover Troton), use Plastic Primer Troton to enhance adhesion. Due to the variety of plastics, perform an adhesion test.
- Do not apply the agent on single-component 1K primers. Instead, use a two-component 2K acrylic or epoxy primer or an etching primer.
- Do not apply the RANGERS product directly on raw factory coatings or raw coatings of aftermarket body parts.
APPLICATION:
UBS Gun:
Mixing ratio - 3:1
By weight: 790g + 210g
By volume: 630ml + 210ml
Shake the container with the product, unscrew the cap, open the lid, add the hardener. Close with the cap and mix very thoroughly.
Pot life - About 1 h at 20ºC
Number of layers - 2 layers.
1 dry layer about 150µm.
First layer - even spray, pressure 2-4 bar until coverage is achieved. Distance from the painted surface about 50cm.
Allow evaporation between layers 30÷50 minutes.
To achieve the desired structure, reduce the pressure and increase the distance from the painted surface.
To ensure the appropriate structure is achieved, apply the second layer using the droplet technique. Distance from the painted surface and pressure change the structure.
Curing time - Touch dry: 1 h/ 20°C
Usable hardness: 3 days/ 20°C
Full hardness (heavy conditions): 7 days/ 20°C
Temperature below 20°C significantly extends the curing time.
Drying
To accelerate physical drying, it is recommended to heat at a maximum temperature of 45°C for 50-60 minutes. Before heating, allow evaporation time of 1.5 to 2 hours.
IMPORTANT! The drying process does not accelerate full curing of the coating. It is recommended to wait 7 days to achieve full hardness (use in heavy conditions).
Gravity Gun:
Mixing ratio - 3:1 + 10÷20% TROTON acrylic thinner
By weight: 790g+210g+74÷148g
By volume: 630ml+210ml+ 84÷168ml
Shake the container with the product, unscrew the cap, open the lid, add the hardener. Close with the cap and mix very thoroughly. Add the thinner and mix.

The coating can be repainted. Wait 24 hours for the product to dry. Treat the surface with fine Troton abrasive fleece, clean and degrease (Silicone Remover Troton).

Anti-slip additive
To obtain an anti-slip coating, use TROTON RANGERS anti-slip powder (10g).
The package contains 10g of anti-slip additive needed to fill one bottle of RANGERS product (1kg/840ml of mixture).
Pour the contents directly into the RANGERS bottle, add the hardener and mix thoroughly for about 2 minutes.
The anti-slip coating can be obtained using a UBS or conventional gun. The anti-slip additive can be added to all layers or to the last layer.
