This is possible in some cases through communication and interaction of various components. This often allows accidents in urban traffic to be avoided or at least significantly mitigates their effects.

Lane Assist

Good to know: In the case of driver assistance systems, a distinction is made between dynamic calibration and static calibration. Static calibration requires a special calibration board and an appropriate diagnostic tool (e.g. KTS 350). In special cases, there may also be a combination of dynamic and static calibration procedures (e.g. in Honda, Mercedes-Benz, and Hyundai vehicles). Typically, static calibration is performed first, followed by dynamic calibration (calibration drive). The entire procedure is guided by the ESI[tronic] 2.0 program.
